Type I plugs have two flat pins in a V-shape and a grounding pin. A similar plus with two flat pins exists. Both are widely used in Australia and China.

Australia’s standard socket-plug system is rated 10 amps. There also exists a plug-socket combination that has 15 amps, with the ground pin being wider. A standard 10 amp plus will fit into a 15 amp socket only.
